Support - Mentoring Programme for clients released under investigation/Police bail.

Since our inception, 780 clients have been seen and numbers are a steady three a week. Clients are self-referrals who have received details of bthechange via the six Police custody centres in Devon & Cornwall (Newquay, Camborne, Plymouth, Barnstable, Exeter & Torquay). Through a 16-week peer mentoring programme we support individuals and their families at the pre-sentence stage of the criminal justice 


Education - Schools Crime Consequence & Anti-Social Behaviour Diversion Programme

Our innovative and award-winning programme empowers teenagers to explore, understand, challenge, and change attitudes that may lead to anti-social / criminal activity. bthechange aims to discourage young people from Anti-social behaviour and crime. We have delivered our social responsibility programme to Southwest Secondary Schools, reaching in excess of 2000 children. 


Transition - Prison Exit Programme 

Our current Prison Exit programme at HMP Eastwood Park, HMP Exeter and Dartmoor is designed to help prisoners with the transition between custody and community This service allows our clients to be met at the gate by their mentor who has previously been working with them. People receive a bespoke service from us, focused on addressing any immediate needs such as: immediate phone calls, charging phones, giving breakfast and coffee, sorting out medication issues, calling probation, speaking to family, handing out clothing
